SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS is the outcome of close, creative collaboration between architectural teams, contractors, engineers and the developer — a collective effort where shared vision, technical excellence and urban sensitivity converged. Located in the heart of Riga between Satekles, Elizabetes and Ernesta Birznieka‑Upīša streets, the project forms a new, varied city block that harmoniously blends modern office functions with public realm interventions.
Delivered as an integrated team within the SN&L partnership (Sarma | Norde Architects & Lauder Architects) and in close cooperation with builder Bukoteks, engineers FORMA2 and developer Linstow Baltic, the project aligns architectural intent with precise construction solutions and advanced digital workflows. This coordination resulted in a high‑quality, sustainable building with elevated operational standards.
The massing and façade strategy breaks the volume into several interlinked yet visually distinct parts, creating a rich and legible urban fabric. The rhythm of façades, material selections and window compositions tie the new building into its context, while the historic volume on Ernesta Birznieka‑Upīša Street was carefully restored and woven into the complex, forming a thoughtful dialogue between past and present.
For the interiors, our approach to communal spaces and test‑fit office layouts focused on producing a pleasant, light and balanced, yet homely environment that can be easily adapted to prospective tenants’ needs. Flexible planning, clear zoning logic and carefully chosen materials ensure the spaces are immediately usable and straightforward to transform — giving tenants the freedom to configure their workplaces quickly and efficiently.
The project is substantial in scale and is primarily occupied by SEB Bank, with additional leasable office space for diverse tenants. As a collective achievement, Satekles Business Centre demonstrates how representation, flexibility, digital coordination and sustainability are best realized through sustained teamwork and shared responsibility.
